I build systems that preserve power, protect truth, and scale impact.
My name is Styner Stiner. I'm a full-stack developer, AI systems architect, and project builder focused on infrastructure that lasts — platforms designed to serve people, not trends.
But I'm also something more personal.
I am the daughter of a revolutionary.
My father was a pillar of the Black Power movement and a survivor of COINTELPRO — a government program designed to disrupt, discredit, and dismantle Black liberation leaders. His life represents resilience, resistance, and the cost of speaking truth to power.
Part of my work is ensuring that legacy is not lost.
I develop global outreach systems, digital archives, and structured platforms that connect people to history, context, and community. I use technology not just to build apps — but to protect narratives that were meant to disappear.

My Father, My Hero
Before I built systems, I was raised inside one.
My father is my greatest hero.
He is a lifelong advocate for Black liberation, a pillar within the Black Power movement, and a survivor of COINTELPRO — a federal counterintelligence program designed to disrupt and dismantle Black political leadership in the United States.
His life represents resilience under pressure.
Conviction under surveillance.
Discipline under attack.
He has spent decades committed to uplifting Black communities globally — not through slogans, but through organizing, education, and structural work. His perspective is rooted in lived experience. Not theory. Not revisionism. Reality.
Now, as he prepares to publish his work and share his story more broadly, I am building the infrastructure to ensure his voice reaches a global audience.
This is not nostalgia.
This is continuity.
His message speaks to:

Most people write a song and hope it fits you. I study how you sing first.
Your range. Your phrasing. Where you breathe, where you push, the note you reach for when nobody is producing you.
That is the input. The song is the output — written to how you actually perform, not to how a demo singer would.
I came to this from software. I architect full-stack systems, and the same discipline runs the music: study the inputs, build to spec, ship something that works. Through GunSmoke Beats I write original songs and lyrics for artists, for brands, and for organizations with something worth saying.
With your permission and your approved recordings, I can train a private voice model on your voice — locally, on a machine, never handed to a service that keeps it. We use it to explore melodies, arrangements and demos before you ever step to the mic.
Then I teach you to run it yourself
Most producers hand you a song. I would rather hand you the system that makes them.

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.
Kuumba Code is the free side of my teaching: live, virtual courses in AI and digital skills, taught in small cohorts and funded by donations rather than tuition.
They are open to underserved learners of every age, from children in foster-care homes to elders in senior homes, across Nigeria, Suriname, and the United States. There are dedicated classes for girls. No experience or tech background is needed.

Why I Support Them
I learned to code on a laptop I could not afford. She bought it.
Before there was any of this, there was a laptop I had no way to buy. She bought it. Every site I have built, every system I have designed, and every student I have taught since started on that machine. I did not have a way in. She made one.
She gave me somewhere to live. And she gave me back my father — after his long incarceration, it was her home and her table where we learned how to be family again.
She has never once kept a tab.
She does it without turning away from her own. Her husband and her children still have all of her; she simply keeps making the table bigger. And she does not look past what my father carried, what I carry, or what whole communities are still carrying.
She sees it clearly, and she stays.
